Meet Lauren: Q&A with Olea’s Newest Team Member

We sat down with Lauren, the newest addition to the Olea Fine Jewelry team, to chat all things jewelry, personal style, and life in North County. She’s already making her mark with her warm presence and incredible eye for detail—now you can get to know her a little better, too. 💫

💎 Jewelry-Related Questions

What’s your go-to everyday jewelry piece?
A very simple but very sparkly necklace. I love a delicate shimmer! ✨

Favorite designer at Olea right now?
Gwen Barba! I find her pieces to be so incredibly charming, so meticulously crafted, and so inspired by nature. She designs each piece to be as meaningful to the wearer—with tiny details only you can see—as much as she designs it to be beautiful on the outside. The lemon pendant is my favorite! Our home has lemon and orange trees, so I’m always inspired by artistry that connects to my natural environment and local roots. 🍋

Dream piece of jewelry if budget didn’t matter?
The answer to this changes every day! Currently crushing on chunky collars with statement pendants. Also eyeing the Jade Ruzzo Vic ring with peridot 😍👑.

Are you a ring stacker, bracelet stacker, or layered necklace girl?
Layered necklace girlie! I love a necklace stack on a crisp white tee and a pair of Levi’s.

What piece of jewelry makes you feel most like you?
My engagement ring and a pair of diamond huggies.

What’s your jewelry styling tip everyone should know?
Mixing textures, lengths, and stone types is the perfect way to add visual interest to any simple outfit. Don’t feel like you have to stick to one style—mix it up! Also, the more piercings you have, the more options you have for earring stacks 😉.
